About Pepper
Meowllo, everyone! My name is Pepper (get it? Because I’m black and white?) and I am in search of my furever home.
I may be named after a spice, but there is no spiciness to be found in my purrsonality. I am such a sweet boy, according to my foster mom. Although, given my mustache, I am a sophisticated little gentleman.
I love playing with my 6 siblings and when we get going, our foster room turns into chaos! We go crazy together. For that reason, I’d love to have another feline in my furever home, or one of my siblings!
My foster mom will tell you that when she picks me up, she can feel me fold into her shoulder and purr away. It is the ultimate serotonin booster for humans, and the ultimate happiness for me! Unsurprisingly, I also love pets. If you have a hand available, please consider giving me a head scratch. I will reward you with purrs!
I would thrive in a home with a loving family that can give me the cuddles I desire. Ideally I’d like to have a feline companion - whether they be a cat my furever family adopted before me, or one of my siblings.
Pepper's Adoption Fee | $149.00
The feline adoption fees help cover the costs associated with rescuing, such as vetting, food, kitty litter and other expenses.
Prior to adoption, cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed and given flea treatment. In short, they receive any necessary treatment.
For more information about adoption fees, please review our Adoption FAQs & Fees page. Alternatively, you can email us and communicate with our Adoption Coordinator.
Why We Love Fostering
-
I love animals and believe they all deserve a chance at love and having a happy home. Fostering has been my biggest reward in life. Often seeing these dogs go from shy, frightened, unsure, abused, and/or neglected, to the most loving, happy, and grateful family members. People always ask how I do it, but how can I not? Is it hard to let go? Of course, it is. But it’s not about me – it’s about getting these dogs into furever homes. When I see updates from adopters, nothing makes me happier. I trust Pets Alive to get these homes for my fosters, and when they leave me, sure I miss them, but it means I can take another one into my home. In all, I have fostered roughly 53 dogs. That’s 53 souls that otherwise, may not be alive today.
