About Sunshine
True to her name, Sunshine has a bright and cheerful personality and loves everyone she meets. With her friendly and affectionate nature, she is sure to win the hearts of everyone around her.
Sunshine gets along well with other dogs and thoroughly enjoys their company. In her foster home, she's always up for a tumble with the resident puppy, however, it's important to note that she can display some dominant behavior indoors, especially when it comes to seeking attention. But with proper training and guidance, she will learn to share the spotlight. It’s also important to ensure that she’s fed separately, or else she’ll empty every food bowl in the house!
Although Sunshine is a fantastic companion for humans and other dogs, her relationship with cats is quite different. She tends to bark, growl, and chase after them, so a home without cats would be best suited for her.
Sunshine is currently working on her house training and crate training. While she is making progress, she may still have accidents at night and when unsupervised. Patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement will be the key to her success as she transitions to her new life as a beloved Canadian house pet.
With her high energy level, Sunshine is always up for an adventure! She loves going for walks and is well-behaved on a leash. Sunshine’s perfect day would include both playing with other dogs and curling up by your feet for a cosy nap. She thrives on human attention and loves to be in the company of her people. Daily exercise and mental stimulation will help keep her happy and content (and prevent her from chewing on anything that she shouldn't).
If you're looking for a loving and energetic companion, Sunshine might just be the perfect match for you! Help us give this wonderful dog the forever home she deserves.Adoption Fee | $500
