About Kisha

Kisha is a sweet and loving dog who recently arrived from Mexico. Although she can be shy at first, it doesn’t take long for her true personality to come out—and it’s as beautiful as her gorgeous black fur!

Kisha enjoys both cuddling with her people and having some alone time. Whenever she sees her fosters, she gets really excited and wags her tail like crazy! Kisha is currently being fostered in a home with cats and other dogs, and she does well with both. She loves going for walks outside and relaxing inside, preferring to cuddle up next to her fosters rather than play with toys. Kisha’s good with meeting new dogs, and once they are familiar to her, she makes for a great playmate! Although Kisha hasn’t had much exposure to kids, her fosters do think she’d do well in a family setting with calm and mature, dog-savvy children.

As a typical spaniel, Kisha has a tendency to follow her nose and does like to counter surf, although her foster family is working on that with her. Her adopter will need to keep tasty morsels well out of her reach (she can jump very high!) and ensure that her ears are kept clean and dry, since her floppy spaniel ears are prone to yeast infections.

All around, Kisha is a lovely dog that will bring so much joy to her future family.
