About Marla

Marla is an incredibly loving and gentle soul who came to Canada from Mexico. She quickly settled into her foster home and her new life as a pampered indoor dog, and now she is ready to be adopted!

Marla is mostly happy to pass the time by napping in her crate, but she also loves to go for walks—especially if she’s given plenty of opportunities to stop and smell the roses! Marla would do very well with an adopter who is looking for an easy, low-key companion and can give her lots of love and belly rubs—she is super affectionate with anyone willing to give her attention. A family with older, respectful children might also be suitable.

Marla loves a good, long nap and likes being tucked in tight with a cozy blankie. Marla has an adorable habit of sneaking clothing items, like socks and beanies, into the little nest she makes in her crate. She never chews them, though—she just wants to be surrounded by the comforting smells of those she loves.

Marla is a wonderful dog, and her sweet disposition and calm nature will make her an ideal addition to most any loving home.
