Teddy and Lily came to me almost 10 years ago. Unfortunately, Lily is suffering from kidney disease, but Teddy takes care of her and watches over her to the best of his ability. I've said this so many times: They didn't need me, I needed them. Pets Alive Niagara is hands down one of the most loving, caring, involved, dedicated charities in the Niagara Region. Hello, hoomans! Iām Smudge (named rightfully for the black smudge on the bridge of my nose) and if you are looking for a pretty princess, congratulations! You found her!
I may be tiny, but boy am I mighty! How could I not be? After all, I am the only girl amongst 6 boys! If I wasnāt, I would just get pushed around. Regardless of my feistiness, I do spend a large amount of time āmotheringā them. I take care of them while putting them in their place - Iād say thatās a healthy balance.
Upon first meeting you, I will play shy. But with the right person, it wonāt take me long to come out of my shell! I tolerate being picked up and will even give you a kiss on the face from time-to-time. Needless to say, Iām quite a sweetheart.
I would thrive best in a home with other feline friends, or with one of my brothers I rely a lot on that companionship and while humans are ok, us cats connect in a specific way!

The feline adoption fees help cover the costs associated with rescuing, such as vetting, food, kitty litter and other expenses.
Prior to adoption, cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed and given flea treatment. In short, they receive any necessary treatment.Ā
