Hello, hoomans.
My name is Sherry. I am a gorgeous domestic short-haired kitten who looks awfully similar to my sister, Maya. Can you tell the difference? I’ll give you a hint: it’s all in the face!
Out of all my siblings, I am definitely the bravest. I fear absolutely nothing. My curiosity can sometimes get me into trouble, but my foster mommy is always there to help me out of it. I hope that my furever family will do the same.
I love to run and play with my siblings: Bo, Leo and Maya. We have a blast together! I have a big craving for treats, too. If I were to live on a deserted island and could only bring two things, I think I’d choose my siblings and a full container of Friskies Party Mix treats - the chicken and gravy kind!
As much as I am fierce, I am also very playful. My foster mommy has this really cool toy that we use. It’s called the Tower of Tracks! If you choose to adopt me, it would make a great Christmas present.
Given my love for my siblings, I would happily go home with one of them, but it’s not mandatory - though it is nice to have a furry friend.
If you would like to be considered for the position of my furever home and companion, please feel free to apply on our website by clicking the link below (if you are considering adopting me in a pair, simply state which of my siblings you are interested in on the application!)
ALL INQUIRIES REGARDING ME MUST BE EMAILED TO petsalivecats@gmail.com.
Adoption Fee | $ 149
The feline adoption fees help cover the costs associated with rescuing, such as vetting, food, kitty litter and other expenses.
Prior to adoption, cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed and given flea treatment. In short, they receive any necessary treatment.

Why We Love Fostering
-
There is a special joy in seeing the transformation from fear to trust in a foster cat’s face and posture, the first time they relax and warm up to me. There is so much comedy in a litter of crazy kittens, rollicking and tumbling, learning how to be big cats. Each foster kitty has been cared for as if they were my own, and I enjoy the confidence in the feeling that they are ready for their forever home. That is the biggest difference between choosing to adopt from a small rescue rather than a shelter, and why I love volunteering. People often ask me how I can be so strong to let such sweet kitties go to adoption, but the feeling that I have space to help another is worth the emotional goodbye. Penny is the twenty-first cat I have helped, and I am not going to stop anytime soon! Fostering for Pets Alive is by far the most rewarding volunteering I have ever done.
Why We Love Fostering
-
Fostering is such a rewarding experience and works great for us as it is very flexible. We love seeing the difference in their personalities from day 1: from timid and nervous to a happy, healthy, better-socialized dog. It gives them time to decompress before going to their perfect home. Fostering enriches our lives knowing we are saving a life each time, and giving them a better life ahead. It warms the heart knowing you were part of this process.
