Female | 2.5 yrs | 15 lbs | Chihuahua mix
Little Priscilla is a recent arrival from Mexico who has quickly adapted to life in Canada. Though Priscilla may be small, she is mighty (as is typical of a Chihuahua mix)! She can be slightly nervous of meeting new people at first, but she warms up in no time at all. She also loves to meet new dogs and isn’t at all intimidated by size.
So far, Priscilla has proven to be good with people, good with dogs, good with cats, and happy to be crated. Her foster is taking her outside for frequent walks to prevent any accidents from happening indoors as her bladder is tiny and she’s still learning how to hold it. Since Priscilla has started to demonstrate some resource guarding with high-value toys and food, a home without small children and with someone able to help work through this behaviour with her would be ideal.
Priscilla’s foster describes her as a quiet, good-natured, and extremely loving one-person dog and thinks she’d be a great match for an active senior. A lover of walks, snuggling, and chew toys, Priscilla is very much looking forward to finding her forever home!
