About Mani

Info from the Mexican shelter…

Almendra & Mani: abandoned at an enclosed property with their mom and another male dog and had been left to die. They were in terrible conditions - they were starving and covered in ticks and fleas. Silvia tried to get the police involved but they did nothing, so matters were taken into our own hands. Notwithstanding this horrible situation, both girls have always been outgoing and friendly, and love people. Phantom, the male who was with them, went to the LCHS in December and was just adopted yesterday 🙂

Mani is a very sweet, smart, amazing girl that would be great with almost any person or family. Great with dogs and is great on leash. Loves her walks and being outside, even in this cold, Canadian winter!

Consider adopting this sweetie pie!

Adoption Fee | $500

Adoption fees help cover the costs associated with rescue, such as vetting, boarding, and transportation.

Prior to adoption, dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and 4Dx tested, and they receive any necessary treatment. After adoption, they are eligible for one month of free pet insurance.

For more information about adoption fees, please review our Adoption FAQs & Fees page.

Why We Love Fostering

  • Teddy and Lily came to me almost 10 years ago. Unfortunately, Lily is suffering from kidney disease, but Teddy takes care of her and watches over her to the best of his ability. I've said this so many times: They didn't need me, I needed them. Pets Alive Niagara is hands down one of the most loving, caring, involved, dedicated charities in the Niagara Region. If you are able to be part of this family jump on our band Wagon won't you? 🐾🎙.

*** Please note that we are NOT accepting applications for the dogs listed as Coming Soon. These dogs have either yet to arrive or have only just recently arrived. Once their foster families get to know them a little better, a detailed bio outlining their personality and describing their ideal home will be posted and we will then begin accepting applications for them. ***
