About Malone
Malone is a sweet shy boy. He takes a bit to warm up to new people but once he does his persoanlity really shines through. He likes company and being close to you. He enjoys walks and is very calm and curious when passing other dogs and people. He is a super chill boy and happily naps for most of the day. He only barks when he is crated or startled.
His favourite things to do are nap, play fetch, go for walks and being a shadow, following the foster around the house. When playing, he will gently mouth, like a puppy. He runs around with a pair of socks lol. Not destructive, so far!
It’s recommended that Malone have someone home most of the time and will have the time to spend with him. Also, he may want to be the only dog.
Please consider adopting this sweetie pie!

Why We Love Fostering
-
It has been so lovely to have an animal with us again. We have noticed a boost to their mood. It is great to be able to open our door to an animal in need, it is very rewarding watching the kitty make progress with us and coming out of their shells. Pets Alive have been very helpful with any issues, and we never feel like we are alone if we need help.
Why We Love Fostering

There is a special joy in seeing the transformation from fear to trust in a foster cat’s face and posture, the first time they relax and warm up to me. There is so much comedy in a litter of crazy kittens, rollicking and tumbling, learning how to be big cats. Each foster kitty has been cared for as if they were my own, and I enjoy the confidence in the feeling that they are ready for their forever home. That is the biggest difference between choosing to adopt from a small rescue rather than a shelter, and why I love volunteering. People often ask me how I can be so strong to let such sweet kitties go to adoption, but the feeling that I have space to help another is worth the emotional goodbye. Penny is the twenty-first cat I have helped, and I am not going to stop anytime soon! Fostering for Pets Alive is by far the most rewarding volunteering I have ever done.
