About Dash

Dash loves the couch, but he is also really starting to like outside. He has recently taken an interest in treats and toys, and loves car rides.

Dash would be ideally suited for a home where there is often someone at home for him to hang out with. A busy household would not be best as he gets loud when there is a lot going on!

Adoption Fee | $500

Adoption fees help cover the costs associated with rescues, such as vetting, boarding and transportation.

They also cover spay/neuter, heartworm testing and treatment (if necessary), rabies and DHLPP vaccines, microchip, and one month of pet insurance prior to adoption.

Why We Love Fostering

I love fostering because I get to change the lives of the dogs I welcome into my home. I get to treat them like my own while knowing they get a chance at a great life. It feels great to be able to provide them with a stepping stone towards their new life with a new family and new friends. Even when they go, I never feel sadness. I only feel happiness because I know they will be loved as much as i loved them. (For Kappy: Though your time was short with me, you inspired me to help other dogs. 🥹)

Many of our dogs are adults that have never received any obedience training or experienced structure and routine prior to being rescued. Behavioural issues are common. Rescue dogs have often been through a lot of stress & instability. We emphasize the importance of routine and training in a positive manner without the unnecessary use of harsh leash corrections, rolling, pinning, or hitting. Do you accept this? *
