Rex

Meet adorable Rex!

Rex is the happiest little dude you will ever meet! He just loves life and everything it has to offer. The world is an interesting place to him – especially those squirrelly things – they are very interesting for him.

Rex is house trained and lets his humans know when he needs to go potty. He is also crate trained although would rather not be in it if it were up to him. He loves his treats, and he LOVES his walkies! If you are looking to get your steps in, Rex is your man! He gets a little bit excited about his walks and pulls at first but soon settles into rhythm and enjoys the sights and smells.

Rex can be a little bit nervous of new people but warms up quickly. He has a habit of jumping up when he is excited so probably best not to be with very young kids that he could accidentally knock over. He is a bit hesitant to meet other dogs, but once he gets to know them he loves to run and play with them.

Rex is still a young dog so still has some puppy habits like mouthing, but he is learning to be redirected towards toys – which he still thinks are strange, but those tennis balls are growing on him. When he is not playing or out for a walk, he loves to nap and snuggle up with his humans.

Rex’s foster describes him as a superstar – and we definitely agree. If you are looking for a fun, playful, walking buddy that will curl up to watch a movie with you in the evenings – Rex is your perfect match!
