About Winnie
Winnie is available for adoption!
Female | 4.5 years | 55 lbs | English Bulldog
Winnie is a lovable, squishy English Bulldog with a big personality and an even bigger love for attention! This goofy girl enjoys belly rubs, bum scratches, leisurely walks, and playing with her favorite “toys” — especially empty peanut butter containers and recycling treasures. She is fully house trained, walks well on leash, and loves relaxing with her people.
Winnie can be a little bossy and vocal when she wants attention, and like many bulldogs, she has some quirks she’s still working through. She can become overstimulated when there is too much going on and will need an experienced, adult-only home that can provide structure, patience, and guidance. Winnie can be reactive with other dogs, and has exhibited some resource guarding with food and toys – which she is working on. Winnie is not suitable for a home with children, cats, or other dogs, as she prefers being the only pet.
She can be selective with new people at first but is mostly friendly once comfortable. Winnie is currently working on crate training and is learning boundaries every day. This sweet and stubborn girl is looking for a calm, pet-free home where she can soak up all the love and attention for herself.
