Murphy may be small, but his love is huge. This sweet little guy is a total ladies’ man who bonds deeply and just wants to be by your side. If you’ve ever wanted a loyal shadow… Murphy is your boy!

But here’s the thing — Murphy has a sensitive heart. He struggles being alone and is looking for someone who can give him the time, patience, and reassurance he needs to feel safe.

He also loves being outside in the yard, soaking up the fresh air and exploring — for this reason, he is not suited to apartment living and would do best in a home with a secure outdoor space.

Murphy’s Perfect Match:

• Adult-only home (no small kids)
• Someone home most of the time
• Patient and understanding of separation anxiety
• Ideally, the only pet so he can soak up all the love
• A home with a yard (no apartments/condos)

He has lived with other dogs before, but truly thrives when he doesn’t have to share his person.

Special Note: Murphy is allergic to beef and chicken, so he’ll need a diet that keeps him feeling his best.

Many of our dogs are adults that have never received any obedience training or experienced structure and routine prior to being rescued. Behavioural issues are common. Rescue dogs have often been through a lot of stress & instability. We emphasize the importance of routine and training in a positive manner without the unnecessary use of harsh leash corrections, rolling, pinning, or hitting. Do you accept this? *
