Grumpy is a very quiet little guy that wants nothing more than a soft bed to curl up on in a calm and quiet home. Grumpy was found as a stray has some trust issues from that time on his own. He has continued to relax and build trust in his foster home, but he can be selective with the people he chooses to trust and seems to trust women more than men. He loves walks and does great on a leash, but has some issues with having his leash taken off. 

Grumpy is fully house trained and has never had an accidents even when left home alone for extended periods of time. He is very happy to just hang out on his own and nap during the day. He doesn't chew anything or get up to any mischief. He can be selective with the dogs he meets, some make him very nervous while others he just ignores.

Grumpy has some little quirks that he is working on and will need a patient adopter that is willing to give him the time and space to build his confidence and learn that he is safe.

Many of our dogs are adults that have never received any obedience training or experienced structure and routine prior to being rescued. Behavioural issues are common. Rescue dogs have often been through a lot of stress & instability. We emphasize the importance of routine and training in a positive manner without the unnecessary use of harsh leash corrections, rolling, pinning, or hitting. Do you accept this? *
