Eevee's Bio
Meowllo, hoomans! I'm Eevee. I’m a 2-1/2 year old DSH tabby in search of my forever home. Now that my kittens are grown up and going to homes of their own, it is my turn.
Since I was a stray for most of my life, I am still getting used to living with humans - especially the noises they make! I startle easily, but I am making great strides. I want to be brave because I like attention and pets, but I still get nervous as people approach. My foster mom has been getting a daily pet, and I’m even letting my foster dad pet me once in a while.
I will take time to come around and would prefer a calmer household with no small children – they move too fast for me. I enjoy the company of other felines and always come out when my foster family’s cat comes to visit me.
My foster mom says I have the deepest purr she has ever heard, I’d really like you to hear it too.
Here's a little more about me from my foster mom:
"Due to her anxious nature, Eevee will need extra TLC and require a home with a quieter, loving family who will be more than happy to help her purrsonality continue to flourish."
Adoption Fee | $149
The feline adoption fees help cover the costs associated with rescuing, such as vetting, food, kitty litter and other expenses.
Prior to adoption, cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed and given flea treatment. In short, they receive any necessary treatment.
For more information about adoption fees, please review our Adoption FAQs & Fees page. Alternatively, you can email us and communicate with our Adoption Coordinator.
Why We Love Fostering
-
Fostering is such a rewarding experience and works great for us as it is very flexible. We love seeing the difference in their personalities from day 1: from timid and nervous to a happy, healthy, better-socialized dog. It gives them time to decompress before going to their perfect home. Fostering enriches our lives knowing we are saving a life each time, and giving them a better life ahead. It warms the heart knowing you were part of this process.
